General SEA-WI Information
Founders
Founded in 2009 by Jason Gross and Marco Lo Ricco. The organization currently has nine elected officers and an additional group of highly motivated people that are dedicated to growing the organization, for advocating structural engineering ideals in Wisconsin and the media, and for promoting development of structural engineers by providing educational opportunities.
Membership and Sponsors
Currently we have Corporate sponsors, Individual members and Students. For more information on membership, see the Membership page.
At present, SEA-WI exists on a state level only, with elected Board of Directors and Officers. Both a SEA-WI Code of Ethics and SEA-WI by-laws have been in-place from the inception with some revisions in the works. Plans are currently in the planning stages to develop local chapters of SEA-WI.
National Association
SEA-WI is a member organization of the National Council of Structural Engineers Association (NCSEA).
Events
SEA-WI sponsors regular events (eight per year at a minimum) which consist of project tours and continuing education presentations, with topics focused on structural engineering. For more information on upcoming meetings, see the Calendar of Events page.
